The goal has been realized. As the picture shows, the thermometer is bursting after the money raised exceeded the goals for the new playground at Hardwick Elementary School.	All of the students of the Hardwick Elementary gather in front of the newly-completed Community Playground, thanks to the community effort and individual generosity, the new playground is finally a reality.

According to Kim Wright, mother of three HES students and chairperson of the the Playground Committee, the concept began about six years ago. With dedication and fundraising efforts behind us, the process is finally complete.

With all the 'bells and whistles', literally, the playground has climbing, clanging, swinging, sliding and twirling for kids of all ages.
